Last night at the MCI Center was truly a special night. The Washington Caps lost 5-0, but that didn’t matter because last night, I got to spend some time with a group of truly impressive and inspiring young men. The men were Soldiers and Marines from Walter Reed Army Medical Center
my father Paul Statzer was in operation second chance and is recovering at walter reed
I am amazed by your blog. I am a member of AOL but I have a blog on another platform. I also am interested in Operation Second Chance, these people deserve the best of everything we can give them. My dad served in Viet Nam and I am so happy to see that the soldiers today are getting a better homecoming than my dad did.
Just came across your blog, Ted.What a great thing to do with Operation Second Change, an amazing organization.Charlie
As a former Marine who served during the first Gulf War, I want to say thanks, Ted. Thanks for being so generous with your resources, your time and most of all your heart. Your spirit is one of the things that makes being a part of AOL so rewarding.
I want to take a moment to thank you for the Caps tickets you provide for AOL employees – it’s a gesture we appreciate greatly (Even when we don’t win. It’s nice just to be able to see them play). Thanks, Uncle Ted!
