NBC can’t possibly be happy with the fact that both the United States and Canada have been knocked out of the tournament. I’m sure the medal games will feature some great hockey games, but I don’t see how a tournament that includes Russia, Slovakia, Sweden, and Finland is going to bring in real big ratings.
Since the Stars have a ton of Finns on their team, I’d bet that the ratings in Dallas will be through the roof for the gold game. The rest of us, sad to say, will be more interested in waiting till Tuesday for the resumption of NHL play.
Ted, that would be Russia, Sweden, Finland and the Czech Republic…..c’mon Ted….I know you’re paying attention….still love those Caps even though I’ve moved back to Canada….good luck next year….
Hey Ted, the Czech Republic beat Slovakia in the quarterfinals. I would have thought the owner of the Capitals would know the difference.
Or even the Czech Republic, who beat Slovakia in the quarterfinals. And you’re the owner of the Capitals?
