This weekend, I went to see Hollywoodland and I really enjoyed the film. The direction and editing were superb, as was the acting by Ben Affleck and Adrian Brody. I grew up watching Superman the TV show – it was one of my favorites. The film took me back to watching the show and eating TV dinners on a TV tray back in my family rental apartment in Brooklyn, NY.

Kudos to Ben Affleck for winning best actor in a film at the Venice film festival, he made a great career choice in this movie underplaying a very sweet role and re-establishing himself as a great actor in smaller films that focus on character development and storyline.
