Ready. Set. Gold Rush!

 Gold Rush is a first-of-its-kind, new cross-platform reality game from AOL.com, Mark Burnett and CBS where you can turn your pop culture knowledge into gold. We teamed up last year to create a new breed of entertainment that would fuse the unpredictability of reality TV and the immediacy of the Internet. The end result is a real-time game that anyone can play and win, with more than $2 million up for grabs.

I wish AOL employees were allowed to play Gold Rush, because it’s a game I could get into. Finally all the things we subconsciously absorb while watching TV, glancing at tabloid at the grocery store, and listening to the radio could pay off in gold. Check it out. It’s pretty cool.
