Why do you think an avowed Boston Bruins fan would come to the Washington Capitals message boards and post under 24 different names; be caught; get banned; reopen an account; get caught; and on and on?

Why do you think an avowed Boston Bruins fan would come to the Washington Capitals message boards and post under 24 different names; be caught; get banned; reopen an account; get caught; and on and on? This person lives in New England. And now this person has moved on to posting on the Washington Post blogs and other local blogs as well. What is it that propels someone to make up 24 different account aliases to post on our boards and other boards?

That is a lot of effort and a lot of work all to do posting on message boards. What do you think the motivation is here?

Good for Facebook

Facebook now allows users to create and send email messages to people at their email domain. This is a very convenient and utilitarian function. No more toggling back and forth to communicate with folks if you are within the Facebook application. Kudos to Facebook. Good move.

All Press is Good Press I Guess

You got me on this blog post. I wasn’t promoted to an Emeritus title at AOL. It means I have no operating role at all at the company. I have retired from AOL. So this conspiracy theory will have to go to the grassy knoll with the other conspiracy theories of late.  :-)
