One of the great things about radio is that they conduct live interviews so your words come straight to the consumer without editing. Somehow I always sound better one-on-one than I do in print.

This site is great. As someone who has started several companies and raised a fair share of venture capital in my time — and now someone who makes angel investments — I have great empathy for the founders of new ventures. Raising money can be a humiliating experience but the best revenge is doing well; building great value; and then reminding the industry and the VCs who passed on your deal. This site is long overdue. My goal is to never get on it with quotes from unhappy founders. I promise to treat anyone who comes for financing with respect and dignity and with the empathy of someone who has been there and done that.
