Be careful when you make outlandish statements as they will come back to haunt you. I have made my fair share of gaffes that is true. I found this chart and this fact of Apple’s company market cap compared to Dell’s worth very enlightening.

While I am nowhere near as involved in the industry as you are, from my outsider view, Dell is still a force in the P.C. world though clearly slipping (I’m not replacing my current Dell P.C. with another Dell product) where Apple seems to have completely abandonded the P.C. market and has moved into other ventures.
You’re much more likely to have an iPod, iPhone, and/or iTunes than you are an iMac or any other Apple personal computer product.
Go to the Apple website and there’s hardly any mention of a personal computer. You have to click on the Mac link to even see one.
Go to Dell’s website and there are P.C.’s all over the place.
So this looks to me today to be a comparison of Apples to oranges (pun very much intended).
