I have been lead to believe today, by a very senior Comcast executive, that this weekend’s games will be shown on Cox Cable. There is a deadline looming for carriage and a deal between these two companies but that deadline is sometime in November. I will stay on top of the situation and do my best but as of right now, I do believe the games will be shown as normal on Cox cable. More as it develops.

Yep, we have an issue. I am working it - although to be honest - this is a face-off between two gigantic cable companies. The decision has nothing to do with the Washington Capitals. I have called the league, Comcast and Cox. I will work it as hard as I can today. Stay tuned to my blog and the Caps site for more information and updates throughout the day.

Etan Thomas is a beautiful human being. He is a man of great integrity. He is a rare talent and a blend of physicality and intellectual curiosity. He can rebound and he can write poetry. He speaks the truth and he is humble.

 His health issue is a serious one. He is in the prime of his life. He needs our thoughts, prayers and good will.
