I have been lead to believe today, by a very senior Comcast executive, that this weekend’s games will be shown on Cox Cable. There is a deadline looming for carriage and a deal between these two companies but that deadline is sometime in November. I will stay on top of the situation and do my best but as of right now, I do believe the games will be shown as normal on Cox cable. More as it develops.
If it’s not on by Saturday, can we all come over to your house to watch it? I will bring the Popcorn!
Hi Ted – Cox continues to reply to Caps fans who are their customers to say that they will only add the channel IF they are able to reach a renewal agreement with Comcast. Have you heard anything new today? Thanks again for your efforts in this matter.
Why doesn’t Comcast pick up the away games feeds in HD?
When you’re done with this, any chance you can get the two to agree on allowing Cox to carry CSNHD so I can watch the CAPS in HD as well
One battle at a time I guess.
Thanks for the efforts!
Great… CSNHD too please
Thank you, Ted. In addition to writing to you about this matter, I am concerned enough about it that I have been on the phone and e-mail today with representatives at both companies including a VP at Cox.
I really hope they can get this deal done — too bad Cox didn’t see the importance to its customers of taking care of this prior to the start of our season. Caps fans are a dedicated and tenacious bunch!
Thanks for your efforts and Let’s Go Caps!
Nice start for caps, gets new additions off & running Undertaker’s{G.M.} remarks ring true that a turnaround can be swift in new salary cap scenarios.
Looking forward to possibility of Wizards being restored to Washington Bullets when ownership transfers fully to your group. Would fall into my 101 category. What’s the chances?
