Jim Robbins was a good man. He was on the board of directors of Redgate Communications, my Vero Beach, Florida based start-up that I eventually sold to AOL. I met him on a red eye flight from San Francisco to Atlanta. We started to talk and we hit it off immediately. He then joined our board and was immensely helpful to me personally. He was a man of great character, great integrity and a great business executive. He was only 65 years old when he passed. He will be in my thoughts and prayers as will his family.
