Worthy Organization

Here is a group that is doing spectacular work in helping filmmakers get their message to the masses.

Here is a group that is doing spectacular work in helping filmmakers get their message to the masses. We need to help and support young filmmakers. It takes on average 3.6 years for a documentary film to be produced and distributed. Since 1957, the entire documentary industry has only generated $ 2.0 billion in total worldwide box office. Think about that. In 50 years, every film produced and released has generated less than one quarter (90 days) worth of Google’s revenues. There are now 1,000 film festivals around the world and in the US, there are 355 public broadcast television outlets. We need to support these institutions to make sure the people’s voice is heard through this amazing media called film and to make sure the media becomes more and more relevant to a broadband enabled world.

We Remember Dave Fay

Thanks to the fans for giving the memory of Dave Fay a standing ovation last night at our game against the Canucks. He was a beautiful man and his family was there last night and was most appreciative of your gesture. We are all proud of the work the NHL does in Hockey Fights Cancer.

Here is a very touching story about Gilbert Arenas. I have gotten to know Gilbert a bit as a human being not just as a basketball player. He is a sweet and caring person. He is imaginative. He is playful and curious. He is also very web-savvy and is one of the most focused Halo players in the country.

Mike Wise did a spectacular and respectful job in researching and writing this piece. I see a book a coming.
