We believe in Alexander Semin and we are pleased to re-sign him for two additional years. He is back in our lineup now and we expect great things from him this season and the next two. It will be fun to watch him develop into one of the NHL’s great offensive forces. Another one of our first round picks, we believe he will mature and become a top 10 goal scorer in the NHL.

Semin is for sure my fave. He’s under the radar for sure. Now as for his ankle, he’ll need a few days rest. I’d give hime all the timke he needs instead of him playng 1 game here and there. Now all we need is OVIE!

This is a great resigning. I look at the Caps a lot like the Cleveland Indians many years ago who locked up young players and got pretty good for a pretty long time. Thanks for spending the bucks.
