Kicking It Accepted at Sundance Film Festival

Our second filmanthropy project called “Kicking It” was accepted at the Sundance Film Festival. Here is the news release on this great achievement.

It is a great honor to have your film accepted at this festival as 8,000 films are considered for about 125 spots. I am very proud of this work – kudos to the director, Susan Koch – and to all of my friends that helped make this project come to life.

Two films, two acceptances at Sundance…I am humbled beyond words.

  1. We are thrilled that the inspirational story of the Homeless World Cup and the courage, determination and spirit shown by the players will be shown first at Sundance. The perfect opportunity to showcase the power of football to change lives to change the world. Fantastic news. Big congratulations to the team involved in making the film.

  2. Mr. Leonsis,

Congratulations on your second successful film. The story line about the seven soccer players who were beaten up by life but still had the determination for cup. This is an excellent story and one that truly shows how people overcome and come together. Again congrats on another successful film.

    Go CAPS!
