    What a gritty comeback performance against the Rangers on 12/12. Backstrom, Green, Ovechkin, and Motzko all had great game for the Caps. Olie keep the Caps in the game and gave them a chance to win. Green took care of that in OT. Backstrom is becoming one of my favorite players on the Caps. Keep up the energy!!

    Seriously though, the ice conditions are horrible. Something needs to be done. With the players the Caps have, they can’t be skating on such bad ice. Last night the Caps got a win because of the poor quality ice, but more often than not, it will be a Caps player that gets hurt. Something has got to give. The ice has to be improved

  3. Excellent promo ideas. Always great to see the old video footage. I wasn’t a fan back in the 1980′s because it wasn’t (& still isn’t) popular in my area. But, I’m for damn sure a fan now. And, the history & nostalgia of something you’ve become passionate about, is always interesting.

    Bennanati thrilled by Shanahan’s goal….

    The Caps win, and he is totally unsmiling… and his final words… “Caps win by a whisker”…

    Excuse me, but isn’t this guy pretty much the voice of the Caps? How about this, Caps Win for third night, with a gritty performance, See You Friday, when they go for four in a Row, against the Sabres!!!

    and the Rangers are up 2-0! Benanati, couldn’t be happier!

    He is even infecting McLaughlin…. I want to see two announcers in a HOCKEY Town discuss a goal…. a puck that was on it’s edge… and in the net… or our player wouldn’t have thrown up his arms, he would have lunged for the puck!

    That is what I am seeing tonight at the end of the first period. Thank God I will be in section 103 and not having to listen to HTS broadcast Friday night!
