Youth Must be Served

Mike Green. Alexander Ovechkin. Nicklas Backstrom. Alex Semin. Jeff Schultz. Five good productive players – all picked in the draft – all are really young and getting better and better. All of them are becoming or have become bedrock, foundational pieces for our club. Mike Green is special. He is a great kid with great wheels and a quickly building level of confidence. His game against the NY Rangers was not unexpected and it was fun to see his game winning goal played over and over again on ESPN

SportsCenter still covers hockey? Wow.

The plan is working Ted. Caps still have to bust their you know whats and make the playoffs. I am confident they can do so, provided they don’t read their clips too often. Let’s Go Caps!
