National TV Game

It is fun to be on national TV playing against perhaps the best team in the NHL tonight. Thanks to the Washington Times for writing about the matchup with so many subplots. I am hopeful that our goaltending responds tonight as Detroit’s offense is spectacular and they have perhaps the scariest power play in the NHL.

  1. Caps played an outstanding game! I only saw the third period, and it was good end to end hockey, and you could tell the Caps wanted it bad..

What else did I hear? Zetterburg’s goal: Bennanati- Oh yes! He Scores!

You can tell it pained the great Bennanati to have to call games in this backwater town… so below his majestical talent level…

We should let this guy move on, and bring in Reekie for play by play… him and Laughlin…. that would be great for starting DC on the road to being a HOCKEY TOWN!

Two Capitals calling the game, and giving Capitals fans something to look forward to each game….

  2. Ted-The Times did a great report. It is an ABSOLUTE SHAME that the POST had not one mention of the game tonight. Not even a preview. Nothing. Nada. To me it’s inexcusable…
