Speechless
I am speechless. I have a daughter that will be 16 this summer. This is crazy. What are we becoming as a society? This pregnancy at 16 becomes a career move with the news to be sold to OK! Magazine for a large fee?
I am speechless. I have a daughter that will be 16 this summer. This is crazy. What are we becoming as a society? This pregnancy at 16 becomes a career move with the news to be sold to OK! Magazine for a large fee? And her Mom is writing a How To Book on parenting!? Meanwhile, daughter number one is in the news on a daily basis for stumbling and bumbling around as the world’s worst parent. My head hurts. Make it stop.
Observation – No Emails This Morning
Odd. This morning is the first morning since August that I awoke, went online and had not a single email in my Washingtoncaps@aol.com email box.
Odd. This morning is the first morning since August that I awoke, went online and had not a single email in my Washingtoncaps@aol.com email box. We go into Detroit on national TV and steal a point in a dominant performance. We beat Tampa on the road. And there are no emails sent to me. But when we lose a game, I average at least 25 negative emails mostly from the same folks. What does this say about email as a medium and about the passions of some of our fans? I am trying to figure it out. Any ideas?
Good for Sarge
I am happy to see a positive article about Jeff in the Washington Post. I believe our young players are maturing right before our eyes. They will make mistakes but they are still very young and gaining experience by the day. Jeff Schultz and Mike Green are forming a one-two punch of young D men for the core of our team. And I remember early in the season some of our fan experts calling for Nicklas Backstrom to be sent to the AHL as he wasn’t NHL ready. And today, he is centering our first line and is one of the best rookies in the NHL. We must maintain our patience with the development of our young players. There is no shortcut but I believe the price we will pay in their maturing will be worth it.
