We had a nice big crowd yesterday – almost a sellout – but I am surprised that many Caps loyal season ticket holders either gave or sold their tickets to Flyers fans. We worked very hard to have this game be a Caps-dominated crowd. Nanking Box Office: Good News And Bad News

Nanking is in a small, well-managed theatrical release right now. It is in two theaters in LA after being in one theater in NYC in December and it averaged more than $9,000 per screen. This would rank it the 3rd best grossing film of the weekend in LA as to per screen sales. The bad news is that it is in only two theaters right now – as indie films struggle to get real estate – compared to say, the Bucket List, which is in more than 2,900 theaters nationwide.
