Colin Farrell
Thank you Colin for doing such great work on our film “Kicking It”; for coming to the screening and the after party; for being so humble; for working so hard on the causes of homelessness; for being warm and gracious to everyone in the crew; and for embracing this cause of Filmanthropy.

Colin Farrell is really smart and understands his advocacy for a cause is the right thing to do for humanity. I have seen him close up with people and with crew. He is a very approachable, empathetic and warm human being. He has helped us in ways both public and private and we are in his debt. He is a good man: solid, bright, compassionate and savvy. Thanks. You have helped us bring "Kicking It" to a mass audience to shine the light on homelessness and ways for people to help solve this problem. Thanks to CAA as well for facilitating the introduction.
Danny Glover
Sheila Johnson brought Danny Glover to the Pollywood dinner last night here at Sundance.
Raul Fernandez, Mark Ein and Jack Davies -all EPs on Kicking It and my close friends – all got the chance to hang out with him. I had the opportunity to talk to him a lot too.
We all agree. What a great guy, huge talent and very concerned about doing meaningful work. He has great charisma and a positive outlook for indie filmmakers. And in the small world department, he is at work on a film right now with Bill Guttentag and Dan Sturman, the directors of Nanking.

Sundance Day Three: Sunday
There was a great MPAA breakfast hosted by Dan Glickman. We then met with John Skipper of ESPN. He is a great guy, a terrific executive and is very supportive of “Kicking It”. We also discussed the NHL; the Web 2.0 possibilities of streaming games online; and some new film ideas. My bet is that I will do a lot of great things with ESPN over the years. They get it. John is a great soul and understands his brand so well and they have such great reach as a set of networks.

I met Morgan Spurlock of "Supersize Me" fame and we had a long animated conversation of the future of indie filmmaking. He is a really great guy, quite funny and talented. I hope I can work with him sometime in the future. Celebs that we met: Armand Assante, Kim Kardashian, Cisco Alder, Dennis Quaid and some rapper that I can
Hollywood Reporter on ESPN Deal
We are still one of the few films to garner an official signed deal here at Sundance. We are also one of the few docs to find distribution to audiences all over the planet.
Kicking It in the Washington Post
The Post neglected to mention Nigel Morris as one of our friends and executive producers of this film. The ESPN deal has opened a lot of eyes and generated a lot of interest in this film. Our next screening is tonight and the screening is another total sell out.
