Here is a nice column by Mike Wise on a great game and a great night at Verizon Center. I think of that game as a three hour infomercial for Caps hockey and our style of play. It was an exciting game and the fans got to see a performance of epic proportions by Alex Ovechkin. Go Caps!

Absolutely right. This Mike Wise column was one of the classiest pieces of writing in the local print media about our Caps this season. Like the game last night, it was a pleasure to savor as I drank my coffee this morning.

It was wondeful to see The Caps on the front page of the sports section of the Post w/ a nice big picture, article and column.
We need more of that coverage.
Anyone who was at their first hockey game last night has got to be hooked. Awesome game.
Seems to me the crowds are getting bigger and the arena is getting fuller.
I suspect Saturday night should be a huge crowd especially w/ the kids night promo.

Yes, that was a nice column by Wise. I thought that made up for his negative column a few weeks ago about all of Kolzig’s grousing.
I was at game last night and it was my first this year( haven’t been enough). A performance like that makes you want to be there every night. Also got a puck as well. Hooked on Caps hockey again! Let’s Go Caps!!!
