“What is the What” by Dave Eggers is a very soulful tale of war, poverty, humanity and triumph. It is a tough but necessary read. Also,

We have a very tough schedule this week starting tonight. We play Columbus then rush off to Philly for a date with the Flyers. We then come home and play Carolina on Friday and the NY Rangers on Sunday. That is four tough opponents in six nights and we are shorthanded because of our injuries.

 This is a defining week. Wish us luck and please come out to Verizon Center this weekend to be loud and proud.

Good article though wrong on a key fact but I agree on the gist of the story.

Wow! The Georgetown men’s basketball team now has 10,000 season ticket holders, more than the Wizards or the Caps or many other NHL and NBA teams. That is very impressive. I have attended several games this year and the students do make the atmosphere electric and a lot of fun. Go catch a game sometime.
