A day off was good for all concerned.

 And now we look forward to the stretch run to qualify for the playoffs. We have 22 games left to play – 44 available points. We have 12 games left to play at home. We have a very tough six game road trip in late March. We play the last three games at home and all against division rivals. We play nine of our last 22 games within the division. Is there anyone that doesn’t think this race will go to the final weeks this season? Fasten your seat belts.

I have worked on two small films. They both are classic in nature in terms of film architecture. They have an act 1, an act 2 and an act 3. They have plot development and a story arc plus character development. There is closure. There is meat on the bones. You understand what the film is about and can relate to the story and the characters.

 We worked hard to be storytellers and document what happened. The films are well done but not a lot of people will go see these films in theatres. This weekend I took my family to see the film "Jumper". It is a massive hit with audiences. It had beautiful young people with close-ups and great special effects but it had no story and no character development. It was edited poorly and as people left the theatre, there was a big collective "Huh, what was that all about?" I certainly didn’t get it. Yet as the story outlines within, it will become a franchise for the studio with follow on films certain to come. If you can get the film and its back story and why Diane Lane agreed to the part (other than money) then you are smarter than me.
