  1. The ice was certainly NOT fine that game nor many other games. Please advise us as to how this is being addressed as it certainly does retard the skill players (to a degree) not to mention the chance of injury. I realize that injuries will happen no matter what but when our ice is consistently ranked among the worst in the league something HAS to change. Go ahead, Ted, ask some players from other teams…PLEASE. Get the opinion of some guys that don’t think of you as their owner and perhaps a little more unbiased opinion may be gained.

  2. I’m well aware of where Georgetown played on Saturday. You seem to have missed the point. First of all, the ice was Terrible Saturday. Highly skilled players were flopping all over. Second, the Georgetown comment was merely a shorthand way of saying that the Caps’ needs seem to rank below even secondary tenants in the building.

  3. Georgetown did play at Marquette, but the ice wasn’t fine. Ask Mike Green, who kept wiping out. The puck was rolling and bouncing all night. The VC ice regularly retards the Caps’ skill.
