I was also lucky enough to go to the game, it was incredible, the fans were just going nuts with every point and every hit. I hope they can keep it up.

I was there just like every game! It was great. The whole place was insain. i actually felt buzzed from the excitement (and I dont drink)to the point that i could not sleep last night!
It was a great crowd last night….and I can’t wait for Sunday vs. Pittsburgh. Another US National TV audience…let’s wipe them out too!
Why restrict that program to students? Why can’t ANYONE who comes to the ticket office on specified game days get tickets for a reduced price? It beats having the seat empty doesn’t it?
Ted, I’m loving the Student Rush night! It’s a great way to get excited fans out to the game. My only problem with the program is that it’s TOO SUCCESSFUL. Living in Baltimore, it’s become absolutely impossible for me to make it to the Verizon Center in time to purchase the student tickets. They’re already sold out long before I can get there. Early in the year, it wasn’t a problem, but now it just isn’t possible. Please understand that this isn’t an official gripe. When the Caps sell a lot of tickets, that’s good for the team. I just wish I could purchase the tickets on line or over the phone, instead of at the box office only. Anyhow, I’m glad that the Caps are a hot ticket now! Go Caps!
Also, slightly off topic here, but isn’t it going to be great when Jagr’s contract expires due to his lack of performance? I know you and GMGM are thinking about better ways to use that $$$ next season. I’m pumped!
Unfortunately I wasn’t at the game but the crowd sounded awesome on TV. I dunno if it was the Versus mikes or what but the crowd sounded off the hook and everyone was having such a good time. Versus even showed you, Ted, talking on the cell with a huge smile. You were telling someone about AO’s hat trick. lol Good times!
I know this isn’t a response directly to this but I’ve looked all over the website and can’t find an injury update for Clark and crew. Is there an ETA for their return or could these be seaon ending?
