The Carolina Hurricanes keep winning as do the Florida Panthers.
The race for the playoffs is about as tight as I can remember. Florida now has 70 points to our 72 points but we have two games in hand. Carolina, on the other hand, now has 77 points but we have two games in hand. We play Carolina two more times. It looks like the season will come down to those two games if we can keep the games in hand in the positive win column.
Yeah I want to see the Caps in the playoffs…but for this very second; The way they are playing I’m just happy being a Caps fan today and even happier to be a season ticket holder and having renewed for next year
Obviously, it would be great to win the division, but the team CAN make the playoffs without doing so. Let’s not act like that scenario is bad. Making the playoffs at all would be a big stepping stone for the young Caps.
The boys have won 4 of 5 and look great. If we play that pace the rest of the year, we won’t have to worry about anyone else.
