Thank You

I have received some very nice emails yesterday and today – more than 60 of them since Sunday night – from season ticket holders and long distance fans. The emails have been supportive and funny and insightful. I have to say that I really appreciate the nice gestures and good will after two tough losses this weekend.

I expect us to play hard and to play with desperation from here on out. We are still in the race. We have been playing terrific hockey. We had a tough weekend of back to back painful losses but we have a bunch of games still to play. I think our team has heart and character and I expect us to keep playing offensive and gritty hockey and to play with passion and to keep trying to meet our goals. Life goes on and we are still in the hunt.

We lost. It doesn’t matter how or when. We lost again in a big game on national TV. We outplayed the Penguins but somehow they beat us again, fair and square. We lost both games this weekend giving up four goals in six and a half minutes at the end of both games after having the lead or being tied. We can

I am burnt out, too, on Facebook.

I now have close to 2,000 "friends" on Facebook. I let two people come into my network yesterday because they were friends of friends and they both immediately asked me to invest in their start-up or help them with a book project. Can we meet first? Would you do that in real life?
