Music was better before MTV and sports was better before ESPN. Vertical is not always better. It seems that each vertical eventually feels limited by their chosen subject and then they destroy their nitch by trying to expand their brand without adequate competition to ensure quality.
I am backing John Garrison on this one Ted. MTV hasn’t had Music in years. It’s not quite a good respresentation of your point, which I agree with. GO CAPS!!
Why? Well probably because Roll Call and The Hill have been doing the same thing for longer and, as somebody who has worked on Capitol Hill, better than Politico.
Do we really need three different newsprint publications in addition to Congress Daily and Congressional Quarterly (CQ) giving us “up to date” information about Congress?
What could the New York Times, Washington (Com)Post, Washington Times, and/or any other big daily newspaper add to the conversation about Congress?
Turn to MTV for music? Since when…your showing your age TL.:)
