  1. I liked how they turned off comments because he couldn’t handle all the comments as a result of his ignorant article.

  2. Well, Mark wasn’t really being hard on the Post proper, but he was just leveling another ignorant, lazy print journalist. I love that aspect. Keep it up.

  3. Um, Mark isn’t trashing the Washington Post. He’s trashing a writer regarding a commentary piece. Doesn’t matter whether it appeared on Washingtonpost.com or AOL Fanhouse. Mark could care less, it isn’t about where it was published it was what was published. And Mark’s reply didn’t mention one thing about the newspaper industry, or taking petty digs at the industry (once, much less for the millionth time).

Why do you continue to direct your venom at the messenger rather than the source when it comes to the print media? When you get railed by bloggers do you bash the web and point out how blogging allows anyone with sixth grade writing skills and a computer to act like they are a professional? No, you praise blogging as the future. I just don’t get it.

Props to Mark for directing his retort to the proper party and without pithy comments intended to shoot down the messenger rather than the message.
