A Few Comments on my Blog

A few comments on my blog from readers have requested that I stop writing about the plight of traditional media with a focus on print-based properties.

I find these requests ironic as the reason I blog is to get things off my chest and to share my point of view on things that strike my fancy at that particular time. Journalists basically can write and say whatever they want. I sometimes use my blog as a way to respond, tweak and have some fun. It isn’t that fair of a virtual fight trust me. They buy ink by the ton. I have a few keystrokes to respond with and a few interested readers to enlighten. So don’t worry and don’t feel sorry for MSM. They will be fine with me or without me blogging about them on rare occasion. I have now done about 2,100 entries to date on my blog. I think I will just now add Newspaper Death Watch to my blog roll and let them tell the story on a daily basis.

  1. It’s your blog, Ted. Say whatever you want. If somebody doen’t want to read it, they can always ask for their money back!

  2. And we’re happy to accept the challenge, Ted. We find your thoughts on the future of newspapers to be informed, insightful and thought-provoking.

  3. Screw that, Ted. People coming here know that they’re getting Caps, Hoyas, Films, Media, Tech and the things that are of interest to you. If they want to see a blog that they can dictate what kind of content is makes the cut, they can go to Blogger and make their own d*mn blog!

Please speak your mind. It’s why we stop in on a daily basis.

  4. It would be a huge shame if you really stop writing about this subject. Bloggers must stick together and, other than the Caps, bloggers’ rights is the reason I read Ted’s Take.

Keep up the GREAT work and ignore the detractors who clearly are missing reality.

  5. To me, it was just more of a question of whether it was productive to be constantly bashing the Washington Post and Washington Times when the Caps are in need of all the publicity that they can get.

  6. I love your blog Ted, it’s on my go to list each morning when I wake up and log on. To quote bob Dylan, Keep on, keepin’ on.

    Oh yeah, Let’s go Caps!
