One more game. See you all Saturday night. Pray for some good luck while watching the out of town scoreboards. Go Caps! And I am so very grateful for all of your support. You are our seventh man out on the ice. Go Caps!

  1. We have been Caps fans for over 15 years, through the highs and lows and it feels good to be on the high road again. We will be there with our 8 year old, who has yet to see the good times, she is in for one heck of a game. We all will be in red GO CAPS I look forward to loosing my voice again!!!!

  2. I also will be there! Just one thing if this (sellouts keeps going) which I hope it does! You and Abe will have to spend some more money and expand the concourses!!!!

    LETS GO CAPS!!!!!!!!

  3. I want the VC to be as loud as it was in the playoffs when the ref could not hear the phone on the ice and kids were covering their ears, GET LOUD!!! Tuesday was a start, Thursday was lame, Saturday we should shout the Kitties off the ice!!

  4. I will be there, my lungs will be there and my red will be there. Wouldn’t miss it for the world.

I would like to say a thank you to you for sticking w/ your plan and taking the heat no matter how painful or dismal things seemed. Looks like we are getting very close to the pot of gold at the end of that rainbow or should I dare say Cup at the end of the rainbow.

    LET’S GO CAPS !!!!!!

  5. Please forgive me.

I will be donning my red Caps hat. However, I will also be donning my white Ovechkin jersey.

He’s my favorite player and it’s my only jersey of his.

My lungs and voice will be coming to the game.

They might not be coming home with me though…

    GO CAPS!

  6. My wife, my two daughters and I will all be there in our Caps gear ready to do our part! Tell the team, if they take care of the work on the ice we’ll take care of the work in the stands!

  7. I’m bringing my lungs, my throat, my vocal chords, my hands, and most importantly, my heart, to that game. There is nothing in the world that could keep me from there on Saturday night, except maybe the end of the world, but I even doubt that would keep me away. GO CAPS!

  8. I’ll bring my lungs to the game, but don’t expect to bring them home with me.

    Can’t wait till Saturday!

  9. Hopefully we’ll be in control of our own destiny by the time the puck hits the ice Sat. night.

We control our own destiny if Philly loses, Carolina loses, or if either Boston or Ottawa lose in regulation in their game tonight.

Carolina plays Florida (not a great team, but they’re not bad) and Philly plays New Jersey who are fighting for home ice in round 1.

I have a hunch we’ll be set up for “Win and In” tomorrow.

  10. Ted, this is a great ride. We were there the night before Thanksgiving, and I have never seen a team looking so beat. But we have been cheering the Caps on all along, and I knew they had the talent to make the playoffs. At this point, we feel like part of this team. The last two games, I got my sons red jerseys to replace their old black ones. We are screaming until we can’t talk after the game. My oldest son is taking the train home tonight from college so he can be there tomorrow night. He is the loudest of all three of them! This team has so much character. Brooks Laich never takes a shift off, or even one second of a shift. He is battling on the boards and in the corners, and usually winning the battles. Gordon is digging in the corners and playing his heart out. The fans notice these things, and that is why the team has gotten the support that it has. Kudos to GMGM for an incredible set of acquisitions. Cooke is an inspiration with the way he throws his body into the game. Fedoroff is a master. Huet is so solid. I was nervous through most of the game last night because we didn’t have Morrison. He is the most under-appreciated asset on the team, and one of the most under-rated defensemen in the league. Let’s hope one of the other teams falters tonight, so the team can wrap it up on the spot tomorrow night! GO CAPS!

  11. Ted, I work full time and go to school full time and the only thing that’s on my mind is the CAPS! This team is absolutely amazing. Anyone who says Ovechkin isn’t deserving of the Hart if the Caps miss the playoffs, needs to get their head checked. Last night’s game was a testament as to how great a player he truely is. “MVP, MVP, MVP”

  12. Ted-My 7 year old daughter and I will be there and we can’t wait!!! I must confess that when we got the tickets 3 weeks ago, I thought it would be a fun, but meaningless game in the standings. I have never been so happy to be wrong!!!! Don’t stop believin!!!!!

  13. Will be there, wearin’ Red, Screaming my head off! GO CAPS!! (Actually in 103)

    THANKS, Ted!
