Phew, another great game last night! Too bad the weather impacted the crowd a little, but still, we all came alive in the 3rd. See you Saturday – I’m finally back in my 101 seats!
Folks: THAT is what a true Cup contender looks and plays like!
I loved their discipline last night, even after things didn’t start off well. This is a great credit to Coach Boudreau and to the team leaders. Bruce said it best aferwards: “I hope this team gets rewarded.”
Don’t hate on the fair weather fans, once the product is good, the fans will follow. If you build it, they will come.
This is more than just “why don’t fans follow the Caps enough.” Ted has bigger plans than that, he is creating a “culture of hockey” in DC. To truly make this a hockey town will take some time, it’s a big fish to fry.
Ted is a man with a plan, and the Caps now have the right parts to make it real. We fans are the lucky ones who get to come along for the ride. And by that I mean these next few years. Our Cup window is now opening before us. THANK YOU!
