Even more Kudos to Mr. Pollin for having the vision and foresight to put the arena in Gallary place and create the re-development of that arena. And all done out of his own pocket!! No $611M welfare check here!!
Combine that first-time-in-20-years accomplishment by the Caps and Wizards…with the opening of the Nats’ new ground…there hasn’t been this much sports excitement, this time of year, in ages!
Forgive my cynicism, but with the ice this year, I am a wee bit concerned about the switching back and forth. I guess if there’s a silver lining, it’s that our guys are rather used to it, where as the visitors (4 teams, I imagine) will not be.
