Thank You for Your Patience

We haven’t won a Cup yet but that is what we all play for. That is what we rebuilt our team for. It has been a very painful process: one season of dismantling the team; one season of a lockout where our young prospects won a championship in Hershey; two seasons with Alex playing for us where we finished last in the division; and now from last to first and onto the playoffs with a division championship in hand. Thank you for coming along on the ride with us. Our work is by no means done but that first phase of the rebuild is over. Checkmark on it. Boom. Done.

  2. Well you know they say overnight success takes ten years…So whats the deal with Chris Clark? While I’m a fan of Clark I’m a little worried about him jumping in and breaking up something that is working perfectly. No way you break up one of the first 2 lines and if Clark plays who sits?

  3. My son watches a show on Noggin network called Wonder Pets and one of their rallying cries is “What’s gonna work? Teamwork!”

    I found myself screaming this at the game Saturday.

  4. umm ted? I believe that the Caps affiliation with the Bears started after the lockout, cause i remember distinctly that Portland was our affiliate then cause we wanted Semin to play there. the Bears won the title the year after the lockout.

  6. Since attending my first caps game in 1977 at teh age of 4, this is the most exciting season ever.

    See you there on Sunday, Friday didn’t work out for me.

  8. My mother-in-law lives in Hershey and I was able to watch the Bears a few times these past couple of years. They always played smart and hard, and now I know why BB!!

  9. CONGRATS TED,I HAVE TO ADMIT I WAS UPSET WITH WHAT WAS HAPPENING IN THE BEGINNING, BUT YOU AND GMGM,AND YES EVEN HANLON,PULLED IT OFF AND NOW THE CAPS ARE WHERE THEY SHOULD BE.GREAT JOB.BB WAS THE BEST MOVE IN THE WHOLE PROCESS.LETS GO CAPS!!!!!
