Geesh. Check this one out. I guess we have arrived now as a brand…as well as a team!
I stopped watching NBC 4 due to the lack of Capitals reporting from both Lindsay Czarniak and Dan Hellie. It use to be the only channel my wife and I watched for the news. However, after they (Czarniak and Hellie)would spend two minutes on the Wizards, what seemed like five minutes on the Redskins and then started running local high school football before playing any highlights from the game either the night before or two nights before, I started to write in and call into their news line complaining. Of course, nothing came from it, nor did I receive any feedback from my numerous complaints. Now the bandwagon is getting full with all of the fair-weather-fans, NBC Sports leading the way. It never hurts to get as much publicity as you can as a team and I stress the word TEAM. Don’t get me wrong, OV is amazing and incredible to watch, but this is a team effort. Without 38, 2, 37, 21, 25, 28, 3, 19, 23, 43, 10, 87, 17, 55, 15, 14, 53, 26, 92, 24, 39, 91, 44, 4, 52, 1 and Bruce, none of this would have come to pass. This is a very exciting time of year. I wish them well both in the playoffs and for a more solidified fan base. We need to get better local network T.V. coverage and a wider fan base. Thank you Ted. Thank you CAPS family.
