Better Them Than Us

Thanks Caps fans. The press noticed that we filled our building with our fans. Be loud and proud and keep wearing that red. You all look great and have created the red sea that gives our team so much energy. You rock!

  1. you all know that the “sea of red” thing was taken a few years back by calgary?

  2. These NBC moderators are horrible and so predictable. Crapitals, Verizon center is filled half way with Flyer fans, AO plays like an immature 22 year old. Hey, Philly played a better game yesterday no doubt about it, but your job as a moderator (specially on National TV) is to be professional and knowledgeable. Your moderating skills are far worse then the play of an immature 22 year old. A total lack of respect for the accomplishments of the organization, the fans and the city. Fire these guys and Put Craig and Mr B in charge. At least they have the knowledge and personality.

  3. I agree Saramantha, twice the NBC announcers said it was a divided house.I had friends and family at the game they said it was a sea of red.Why does NBC have pro Philly guys like Embrick working the Game?It was painful listening to the commentary. The Caps are generating more interest than the NHL has seen in years!

  4. NBC did such a poor job with the game. Not only did they mis-represent our fan base, they depended on cheap shots to our team to make commentary. Alex a dog? Are you kidding? The best player in the NHL was made out to be a lousy player. The NBC broadcast provided nothing to the game. Granted I only watched the second period of the broadcast on NBC, the reminder of the game I watched from my second row seat, thankfully. Why aren’t good play-by-play and color guys used for the playoffs. Seems like NBC is here for the prom, where are they the rest of the season? Glad we’ll have our usual guys on Tuesday.

  5. Thanx for the early ticket sales for Caps’ newsletter subscribers! Didn’t know if I was going to get shut out for game 5. Figure it should be sold out by the time I get home Monday. Wonder if I could have got tix for it at the game today? Hmmm

  6. Are you sure? NBC commentators claims it was 50% Philly fans in the Phone Booth today! *rolls eyes*

  7. I’m going to do my part in Game 5 (assuming it makes it that far…)! Bought tickets this morning 1t 10:01am. :)

    LETS GO CAPS!!!
