I have been a CAPS fan since we moved to the area in 1985 and it is great to have such a young offensive team to watch. This is such a great team to watch and root for…We didn’t get the respect from ESPN or NBC for the great run at the end of the season but, know that the fans are behing this exciting team! GO CAPS!!!!!
After the great way the Caps played to get where they are right now, they were due for a letdown.
They’ll come back. They, nor any team can win every game, nor should they be expected to. They will come back. If not, it won’t be for lack of effort or desire.

Hey Ted…better to have the letdown now, rather than in a crucial game 6 or 7 later in this series !! BTW, my hubby & I had to turn up WJFK’s audio feed (which is about 7-8sec. behind the TV video) and mute the NBC audio, as it was mind-numbingly obvious that NBC was all PHILLY all the time…no objectivity was to be found by these guys!! Even when we buzzed the nets we got no love from ‘dem guys!
The boys were due for a let down. Tough game to watch, but they have given us so much joy in the last couple months. Bruce will tighten it up for tomorrow night. It will be more fun to beat them in Philly anyways and make their sorry fans go home angrier than normal!!!
Last time I checked our boys were a preety good road team. No worries here!!
Philly played a near perfect game yesterday so props to them. It’s a best of five now and they have home ice.
I’m confident Bruce and the coaching staff will make the appropriate changes and the Caps take tomorrow night’s game.

Ted what happened? that was horrible! they were so bad they could not have even passed the flu virus to each other. What is up with the “Panic Hockey” pass the puck anywhere so I dont get hit? I say it everyday, if they are not agressive and shoot at least 35 shots they dont win. I dont play golf and i’m not ready for this season to end so someone please kick our guys in the A%*
