So I log onto the Flyers website and they have a big splash page selling tickets. You can buy tickets to the Flyers vs. Caps game tonight. Go buy tickets and come root us on! Note however that we were sold out for the first two home games. You couldn’t buy a ticket on our website so would anyone know that? Would anyone say that the DC market is as good if not better for the playoffs than Philadelphia? How come no one wrote about this? I am sure proud to know we have such great fans and so much excitement in our market. Way to go. Go Caps!
The Wachovia Center hasn’t got rows that are designated with letters. I’m not sure where Row H would be.
Unless, MAYBE, it’s in a club box. I haven’t sat in one of those. But I honestly don’t think so.
Regular, non-suite seats all have rows that are designated with numbers, not letters.
I bought two tickets to both games 1 & 2 on the day of the respective games through ticketmaster. For both games I ended up sitting in great seats. I am not sure why but I think the venues/teams/ticket vendors release tickets on the day of the game for lucky fans like myself to scoop them up. Is this perhaps what is happening with Philly?
Either way I hope there are a ton of Caps fans or empty seats. That will shut Mike Milbury and Philly up quick.
Go CAPS!
Washcaps37 – those tickets must have just been released, last time I checked there were none left. And row H? I don’t think the Wachovia Center’s rows are numbered.
I just did a query and was able to find a pair of 2 seats down low. I’m not able to go, but if there are Caps fans who can make the 3 hour trip up/back, tickets *are* available.
The Flyers are trying to live off of what they did 33 years ago.
Rock the Red!
Sock the Flyers!!
Just went on their site and checked again and two tixs came up in sect 114 row 17.
Looks to me like plenty of lower bowl seats left.
I was on their site at 8am this morning and I checked and I put in for two tixs for tonight and they had sect 116 row H avail.
So they must have sold a ton today.
Nothing like waiting until the last minute.
That really screams hockey town.
Club box seats only, Ted. Regulars are sold out.
The Red Army should plan an attack on the Wachovia Center!
I got tix from Stub Hub and from Flyers Season ticket holders who wanted to wait until the next round before they went to a game (That’s loyal huh?) HAHA. Tix on Stub Hub were incredibly reasonable… I really wish I lived in D.C. at this time of year but hey nothing like wearing my Ovechkin shirt into every establishment with a Go Flyers sign on the front door.
I’m from Philly and have atteneded my first two Caps games this year in DC. I will be back without a doubt next year as well as supporting the Caps tonight and Thursday here in Philly. Ted, your doing an awesome job with this team and I wear the RED proudly here in Philly. Keep up the good work. Go Caps!
Be Careful Ted. I just went there and couldnt find anything for tonight’s game.
The messaging on the splash page is just terrible though. Sure makes it seem like you can still get tiks for tonight.
Just an FYI
Thats right TED!!!!
Hey..with the warm weather expected, I sure hope the Verizon Center will be ready with a good sheet on Saturday? Any updates on what they are doing to keep things cold and smooth?
