Poignant and true, yes, but also somewhat cautionary.
How many Internet users have typed something that they wish they could take back? How many fights have broken out on message boards that will long outlive those who fought?
Say something out loud, and it vanishes with the sound. Say something in writing, and it lasts as long as does the material it’s written on. Say something online, and it may well last an eternity.
