Yup, I agree. If you look at the power play, if we score on just two PP per game more than we have, that puts Philly in the position of not being able to be that aggressive. More times in the box means more goals for us, and less physical play for them. If they are less physical, we score more even strength goals. Thus we win more games. It all comes down to scoring on the power play. If they know we can’t score, they will take liberties with us all game long and ultimately get away with it. Nothing like being able to rough up our goalie, maybe even taking a penalty or two in the process, but never give up a goal as a result.
