Wow! Our last game against the Flyers pulled a 5.2 local rating with a 6.0 in the demo of men 18 to 49. Truly amazing numbers!

My Last Diary Entry in USA Today
Wednesday, April 23rd, 2008Thanks for this opportunity. It was fun. It was hard work. It is really tough to put yourself out there like this but I do believe it helps sell the game and offers people insights into what owners feel about playoff hockey. I hope you enjoyed reading it as much as I did writing it. Go Caps!

Good Vibes Even in a Loss
Wednesday, April 23rd, 2008Good News on Nylander
Wednesday, April 23rd, 2008Less we forget, we had an incredible run and played with heart and determination. We played a seven game series and on the sidelines - wearing business suits - were a first line forward and our captain, Chris Clark; our veteran center, Michael Nylander; and two top four D men for us in Jeff Schultz and Brian Pothier. Injuries are a part of the game but we missed these vet players and look forward to their off-season recovery.
“You’ve Just Got to Fight Through It”
Wednesday, April 23rd, 2008While I do believe that there were several calls last night that directly affected the outcome of the game and of the series, I would like us all to look forward. Don’t look back. We had an amazing season. We lost two games in overtime to lose the series 4-3. Keep the faith. The breaks will come our way one day. That is what I believe.
I Believe and, More Importantly, You Do Too
Wednesday, April 23rd, 2008We have a plan that is working. The players and staff believe in it. The fans believe in it and I believe the media sees that we are quite serious in trying to build a Stanley Cup winner right here in DC.
Thank you for your support and patience. As I said, ”The rebuild is over.” Onward to a great future. We won’t rest until we win a Cup.
