The Mystics play LA on Saturday at home. We are back to a .500 record. Come out and see the stars shine. This level of basketball needs to be seen “live” to be appreciated.

I might go to a Mystics game one day if they’re not playing in the Verizon Center. I really don’t like going to the rink after the season ends. I don’t want to go back until there’s a chance at winning the Stanley Cup.
Since buying my season tickets in 1986, I have only been to the rink duruing the offseason twice: a Draft Party in the ealry 1990s (when Mike Ridley was there to sign autographs and then got traded… he did get a nice ovation from the fans who were there) and in 1995 for the unveiling of the blue-black-bronze uniforms… otherwise, I’d rather not be there.
And yes, I said rink…not arena. There’s ice down there.
Ted, the wife and I are Caps STH holders. Last Sunday, we attended the game with the Houston club. We enjoyed it greatly. We sat in Section 200, Row D. Wow, those would be some great seats to watch the Caps.
I think my wife and I will be seeing quite a few more Mystics games !!!
I will definitely be there! (The opponent, LA Sparks, of course has super-rookie Candace Parker, and after she broke the rookie single-match scoring record against Phoenix in the season opener, there was a WNBA.com piece that was already booming her for the MVP! Sounds like the treatment a certain Penguin well-known to all hereabouts has been receiving…well, the expansion Atlanta Dream held her to 12 points this past Sunday so we’ll just see!)
