Congratulations to Alex and Bruce on their wins at the awards. My neighbors are probably wondering what was wrong with me as I was cheering like mad.

I’m disappointed that Nicklas didn’t win the Calder, but he’s going to have a stellar career. Patrick Kane had an excellent season and I thought deserved the award. It’s just more incentive for Nicklas to put up Crosby/Malkin type numbers!

Right now I am remembering Tim Russert “interviewing” his son about his favorite Cap, “Olie the Goalie”, and imagining how porud he must be of Ovie and Bruce.

Ted, I hope that the Caps will do something to remember Tim Russert this next season.

I am thrilled for Alex and Boudreau and our season, but right now I am filled with sadness for a true Caps fan.

I was so exhausted after the game 7 lost. I couldn’t even think about the 2008-2009 season starting. After seeing Alex, Bruce, and Niklas in Toronto, a new energy has taken root inside me and this city. I’m so anxious for training camp now - I don’t know how to spend this summer waiting. Thanks Ted for this great experience. Now, when do opening night tickets go on sale?
