Sports as Agent of Social Change
This is one of my favorite charities - a charity founded by local young adults – and one that is using sports to help change people’s lives. I am pleased to support these great folks. Check out what they do here. PeacePlayers International is really making a difference.
Tennis Anyone?
Here is some good coverage by Off Wing Opinion on World Team Tennis. Check it out.
Kudos to Sundance
The Sundance Documentary Fund is such a great program. I believe that nonfiction film and documentary programming is the right format for the Web 2.0 generation. Young adults are growing up in the YouTube world. They will all be accustomed to having cameras in their hands at all times. Everyone will be a filmmaker!
Telling real life stories; documenting real time news; expressing themselves via video; and nonfiction storytelling is the future of entertainment and Web 2.0 distribution.
Kastles’ Big Win
I had a great time at the match last night. It was a perfect setting; great weather; great atmosphere; and the Kastles rallied for a huge win.
It was very exciting to watch a legend play tennis in John McEnroe. He still has some game and a very unique style of play.
Mark Ein has built a winner and a very unique summer entertainment platform. Go check out a match. And let me know if you like the match presentation, too.
