I thought Super Size Me was totally over the top. Eating McDonald’s every day is a completely unnecessary way to prove that it’s really bad for you. EVERYBODY already knows that McDonald’s for breakfast, lunch, and dinner is going to make you extremely unhealthy, and turn you into an overweight, undernourished zombie with a bad attitude. Everything in this film could have been expressed on a half-hour special. In my opinion, this film only succeeded in making Spurlock’s career.
I’m waiting for “God Grew Tired of Us” to be put on Snag Films. Now that is a great documentary!
ted— there are so many films to choose from on snag already, may i suggest that once a week or so you recommend to us on your blog a specefic film. i am sure it is important for our initial expierences to be snag positive, which you can help achieve by pointing us towards a film or films that may appeal to us.
Afterall most of us do not have a great history in viewing documantary and nonfiction films, so any help would be great.I am going to watch dig now. maybe next year at this time i will be able watch on snag a documentary on the caps winning the cup!
