Don’t talk the talk if you can’t walk the walk…

That was great theater last night. Wow. What a great relay and a great performance by the Americans. And Michael Phelps’s quest for eight gold medals is still alive and NBC breathes a great sigh of relief. That was fun and worth staying up for last night!

I am reading a really terrific book called “Creating a World Without Poverty” by Nobel Peace Prize winner Muhammad Yunus.

The theme of the book is social business and the future of capitalism.

I so believe in these themes of creating businesses that leave more than they take and that can help communities of interest flourish.

I know everyone is busy out there but if you have a chance, pick up this book and read it.

I also have to say I am very proud that SnagFilms follows many of the doctrines laid out in the book - enabling people to get involved; building goodness right into the product itself; and generating monies and people’s time as volunteers for causes.

Everyone can make a difference. Refocusing some of your time and energy and dollars into businesses that are set up to help and to give more than they take is something that everyone can achieve.
