A couple of years ago, the Capitals were 100 to 1 long shots to win a Stanley Cup. This off season, we are now 15 to 1 according to these betting experts. We have the 7th best odds in the NHL to win a Cup. I guess we are moving on up.

I was actually up in Vegas this past week and the odds are now 10-1!
I wonder what the odds are for the Caps to win the Eastern conference, and who has the best odds to win the conference (probably Pittsburgh). There really aren’t any teams that are dramatically better than the Caps in the East (Pittsburgh and Montreal may or may not be better). Only Detroit and possibly San Jose are measurably better out west…but even then, in a 7 game series, things can happen…
