I agree with this opinion column. No one knows nothing. Don’t believe the polls. Don’t believe the experts. Draw your own conclusions. Vote how you want and think best. The race is now officially on. Think of it as a dead even draw and that your own vote truly matters in this election cycle.
I’d be more enthusiastic if I could vote for either one… personally, I’d like to vote against both Obama and McCain and vote “None of the Above”. I don’t think either of them has a chance to be a great President like FDR or Lincoln, but at the same time, I don’t think either of them will be a national disgrace like Nixon or Harding.
But still, it’s sad. The last time I actually voted *for* someone for president was when Bob Dole ran against Bill Clinton. I voted for Dole, even though it didn’t matter much (living in Maryland, the Democratic nominee will win barring a Republican who has popular support in the the 70′s like Reagan did in 1984).
