Hockey Mom is really starting to get traction. The community is getting a really diverse set of opinions and viewpoints. We embrace everyone. The blogosphere is a big tent and I am in love with this latest set of blogs. Also check out “Love the game, Don’t Like Puck Bunnies.” I think the more voices and more bloggers the merrier. Looking forward to seeing all of the bloggers soon at Kettler and then at Verizon. Go Caps!
I, too, highly recommend HM’s blog. HM is a true female hockey fan that knows the sport, and I’m glad I know her. Musings of a Hockey Mom is a must-read for any hockey fan [and parent because she gives excellent insight on avoiding injuries].
I’ve been blogging for quite some time and I also have to admit that I find Hockey Mom’s blog a refreshing change and more to my own blogging tastes. I, for one, and it’s not the first time I have commented in this format about it, have grown tired of certain blogs who report things that are not actually verified and spit boring statistics out to make themselves seem well-versed in the ways of hockey. Good for the fringe bloggers who keep it “real” so to speak. I’ve just posted part one of Who’s in the net for 2008-09 for any readers who would like to know, but can’t take the time to check it out for themselves. GO BLOGGERS. GO CAPS!! http://www.singingfromthecrease.wordpress.com
Hockey Mom Rocks! Uncle Ted you should think about having someone like her work for the organization. Her knowledge of the game plus her enthusiasm would be a great asset to all the Cap’s Hockey Mom’s out there. I love the game plus the fact I too am a Hockey Mom and very proud of it.
Keep up the good work Hockey Mom and Uncle Ted! GO CAPS!!!
I agree with you Ted, My wife Lisa found Hockey Mom’s Blog and loves it! HM really has some good insight into Hockey and sports in general. She is funny yet write with the intelligence of a true hockey fan that knows the sport. Thanks for the Suggestion!
