Tribeca Film Snags the Widget

My friends at the Tribeca Film Festival snagged the 9/11 Remembrance widget. We can never forget that they started the Tribeca Film Festival as a way to give back to their community post 9/11. They are founding members of the “Filmanthropists Club” and they have built this film festival as a way to help NYC heal and to help filmmakers all over the world.

Thank You Comcast

Here is the news release about this year’s television schedule.

To translate, Comcast will broadcast 73 games on Comcast SportsNet or Comcast SportsNet Plus. Fifty games will be seen in HD.

Seven games will be shown on Versus.

To date, we have two games that won’t be seen on TV because of some exclusivity issues - Versus vs. Comcast SportsNet – but we are working on that issue right now. So 80 of our 82 games will be seen on TV. Last season, 81 of our 82 games were seen on TV. This year, more games will be in HD than last year and more games will be on Comcast SportsNet vs. Comcast SportsNet Plus. Overall I am pleased with the schedule. Go Caps!

You Got a Friend..

The Capitals care about you Capital Spirit. Verizon Center wouldn’t be the same without you. Don’t let a couple of folks on the message boards get you down.

Here is a formal invite to come and hang out with me and some of my friends in the box this season. Be well. The clock is ticking. Almost time for the season to start. See you soon. Go Caps!

PS - No one goes out to eat burritos at 4:00 am. That is all marketing hype. :-)
