See what I mean about mainstream media? The New York Times got it wrong and Charlie Gibson got it wrong. Check out this Op Ed piece. This news will get out and the mainstream media will be less trusted. People will get mad at the “game of gotcha” and the agenda that the mainstream media pushed forward, in this case, will come back to haunt them. What a silly game this is, isn’t it?

I spent a fair amount of time in the spring and summer of 2006 working up in Anchorage and heard a lot of good things about GOVERNOR Palin (yes she is one of only 50 sitting Governors inm our nation today) then. I also had lots of my own misconceptions about Alaska debunked. I assure you Wasilla, a municipality of ~8,000 and growing is not the rural Cecily, AK of “Northern Exposure”. I have spent my entire life, living and working in Metropolitan areas on the US East Coast including NYC. That said if you review census data, you’ll note just how many municipalities have LESS than 8,000 folks and just how many of them are in the “red” states that elected George W. Bush. Just a point, you are dead on with how the Democrats and MSM are botching this campaign, if their goal is to get Obama into the White House. Personally, I have no issue with a “Hockey Mom” and PTA member as our next VP.

  4. Not only is she dumb when it comes to forign affairs, she has that Bush aragence about her dumbness. It wasnt just that question. She danced around almost every question cause she had no clue what she was talking about. Anyone can say what they want. I watched THE WHOLE INTERVIEW and not clips on the news and made my own mind up. She does not belong there and if McCain gets in and has a chest grabber WE ARE IN TROUBLE.

    Obama received 72% negative coverage compared to McCain’s 57% negative coverage. The “liberal media” is a myth. Besides, you can’t believe a word Charles Krauthammer says. He’s a right wing nut. Get off the politics. You look foolish discussing it and will turn a lot of people off.

  6. Go back to the NYT and read Krugman’s op-ed from Thursday. The mainstream media should be ashamed for framing the narrative as a horse race, and its unwillingness to craft dialog on the strength of an issue’s merits. This is much more damaging to media’s reputation of transparency than the one-upmanship of a hackneyed television interviewer.

    I’m no Gibson apologist. But whichever version of the Bush Doctrine he intended, the question of whether a McCain/Palin administration would make Bush’s unilateralism a permanent foreign policy still happens to be a valid one.

    She’s just so cute and nice, why would anyone want to hurt her?

    The fact that the d*mn liberal media is just trying to bring her down…I mean…come on, she’s a person!

    I don’t want to know how unqualified she is, because we need her…we need her badly.

    I wish we could give her all the power of the U.S….she’s ready.

  9. Over 90% of the main stream media is either far left liberals or openly survey that they support the Democrats. No wonder they are wrong almost all of the time!
